Conservation of Energy
Law of Conservation of Energy - the total amount of energy remains constant in an isolated system. Energy can also neither be created or destroyed but only changed from one form to another.
- Ei = Ef
- KEi + SPEi + GPEi = KEf + SPEf + GPEf
- SI unit = Joules
- American unit = BTU
Example Problems:
- Ki + PEi = Kf + PE
